A two-storied traditional house and two huts were razed by fire on Saturday at around 8:50 am in Lumang Gewog of Trashigang.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire could not be contained after a Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder exploded inside the house. No casualties were reported as there was no one at home during the incident. The cause of the fire is suspected to from an electrical short circuit.
Wamrong Dungkhag Administration handed over His Majesty’s Kidu Semso and provided other basic necessities.
