Tshogki Lopen awards Toe-Tse Jim to Principal of Samdrupcholing Monastic School

The Tshogki Lopen awarded Toe-Tse Jim to the principal of Samdrupcholing Monastic School coinciding with the third annual Mani-dungdrup of Draagteng Gewog in Trongsa.

Gayden Gyamtsho is from Samchhoeling village under Draagteng Gewog, who is the serving principal of Samdrupcholing Monastic School.

It was following the central monastic body’s decision in recognition of his extraordinary service to the Draagteng community besides shouldering the responsibility as the principal of the monastic school since 2018.

Meanwhile, he was the first principal to receive such honour from the Monastic body in a short period of time after his appointment as principal.
