The Ambassadors of Japan and the Kingdom of Thailand to Bhutan presented their credentials to His Majesty The King at the Throne room in Tashichhodzong today.
Satoshi Suzuki, the Japanese Ambassador to Bhutan started his career with the Foreign Ministry of Japan in 1984. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the Director-General of the Foreign Policy Bureau in Japan.
Arunrung Phothong Humphreys is the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Bhutan. She joined the Thai Foreign Service in 1993 as a career diplomat. Prior to the current posting, she held the position of Deputy Director-General for the East Asian Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
