Bhutanese archers reached finals in 4 different categories, South Asian Games

The Bhutanese archers have reached the finals in four different categories at the South Asian Games in Nepal. The Bhutanese archers are proving that the skill and zeal in archery are rooted within the Bhutanese.

All the finals of archery will be played against Bangladeshi archers. Kinley Tshering and Sonam Dema defeated Sri Lankan archers today in the mixed team recurve competition reserving their place in the finals.

In the men’s recurve, Kinley Tshering is into the finals and in the women’s recurve archery, Sonam Dema booked her seat in the finals.

In individual men’s compound archery, Tandin Dorji will play in the finals.

Meanwhile, in weightlifting, Kinley Gyeltshen won bronze medal in under 96 kilograms category today.

In an astonishing turn of events, Kinley Gyeltshen won bronze medal today in Bhutan Weightlifting Association’s debut in an international event.
