The Lhop community in Samtse is considered among the country’s aboriginal communities. They are spread across several villages in Dorokha Dungkhag and Tading Gewog. What is unique to them is their dress and language. However, the Lhop community in Ngawang Dramtoe in Samtse fears their identity is waning slowly.
