The Ministry of Finance defeated Druk Chapchab Construction to take home the title of the Jigme Dorji Wangchuck Memorial traditional archery tournament in Thimphu. The final was played over the last two days.
Both the teams won a set each yesterday.
Each player from the winning team received a refrigerator each, and the runners-up a 21 inch television set. The prize for one day highest Karey went to Dungchu Wangdi from Ministry of Finance, and the highest Dobji went to Jimba from Bhutan Power Corporation.
The prize for the highest karay went to Ugyen from Druk Chapchab Construction. Sangay from the same team was declared the man of the match.
This year a total of 17 teams took part in the tournament. The match was organised by the Bhutan Indigenous Games and Sports Association.
