People now have an additional option to reserve their bus tickets online with the launch of Bbooking, an online ticket booking system developed by Bhutan iVantage Solutions.

The first online bus ticket booking, ‘Druk Ride’ was launched in 2017.

Bbooking introduced its online service last week with Meto transport service from Thimphu to Phuentshogling and is expecting to provide services to all the passenger bus services in the country by 17th of this month.

BBooking will facilitate the people to book tickets online at www.bbooking.bt.

“The modality of the system is very similar to that of Druk ride but however I personally feel that Bhutan iVantage Solutions is first of its kind which has been officially connected with the RMA with its payment gateway which would facilitate all the customers to buy e-tickets online from any of the banks that they prefer,” said Pranayee Chhetri, the CEO of Bhutan iVangtae Solutions.

Meanwhile, Druk Ride says that their service is doing well.

“We have been here for the last three years and we feel like we have made an impact on the society in a massive way we have provided about 300,000 services to our clients,” the CEO of Druk Ride Jigme Thinley Yoezer Rinzin said.
