The Bhutanese Taekwondo team wins 3 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze medals at the recently held 9th TIRAK Taekwondo International Championship in Thailand.
Winning gold in his weight category, Ngawang Yonten was also awarded the best fighter trophy in the senior men’s category. For the first time, 12 Taekwondo fighters and 2 coaches from the Bhutan Taekwondo Federation took part in the TIRAK Taekwondo International Championship to prepare for the upcoming South Asian Games that will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal this December.
Over 1000 participants from 22 countries participated in the 9th edition of the competition, this time.
