A 72-year-old man is under Norboogang police custody in Samtse for alleged molestation of an 11-year-old student. The incident happened on 24th September when the girl was on her way for Dzongkha tuition class.
The police arrested the man who is from Yangphelthang (Bhimtar) village in Norboogang Gewog a week after the girl’s mother reported the case. The girl is said to be in a stable condition and continues to attend school regularly.
