A single storied house and a two-storied house belonging to one family were lost to fire in Denchhi chiwog of Gomdar Geowg under Samdrup Jongkhar yesterday morning at around 1 AM.
The Fire is suspected to have started from the kitchen of the single storied house as the victim did not put off the fire after drying cardamom.
Meanwhile, the single storied house is insured but the two-storied house is not, as it was completed only recently.
