Zhemgang District Court sent a 12-year-old boy to Juvenile Rehabilitation Centre in Chhukha for 18 months. The juvenile is a repeated offender. He was caught stealing laptops and other items several times.
The boy was charged with misdemeanor as per the Bhutan Penal Code.
The court also ordered him to pay Nu. 36,000 to the owners of the stolen items within two months.
