The Bhutanese team booked their spot in the finals of the ongoing UEFA ASSIST U-15 International Tournament as they beat Saudi Arabia 2-1 in the Maldives yesterday.

The crucial game of the competition saw both the teams giving their best as a win could easily take them to the finals. It was Saudi Arabia who led the first half with one goal to nil. However, the dragon boys made their way back to the game equalising early in the second half.

Keeping up the same spirit, the Bhutanese team were successful in making a historic comeback by scoring the winning goal in the 59th minute. The match ended 2-1 in favour of Bhutan.

Bhutan will now face Latvia on Monday.
