The Bhutanese under-19 cricket team ended their Asian Cricket Council Eastern Region Cup campaign with a seven-wicket defeat to Thailand yesterday.

Bhutan batted first and managed to put on 73 runs while almost playing out their quota of 50 overs. However, the target set was far too low as Thailand chased it down in just 19 overs.

In what has been a dismal tournament for the Bhutanese team, they have lost all three of their matches. The team will return home on Tuesday.
