A nine-year-old girl died after drowning in Sherichu in Monggar yesterday. The deceased was a class two student of Serzhong Lower Secondary School.
Sources say the girl along with her friends went for swimming in the afternoon after writing her exam. The body was handed over to her parents. Police ruled out foul play.
