Of the ten former staffs of the College of Language and Culture Studies (CLCS) in Trongsa under special investigation for alleged sexual harassment, three former lecturers were detained by the Trongsa police on Sunday for probable sexual harassment of students.
The other seven accused are still under special investigation.
On 10th May the CLCS management compulsorily retired nine lecturers and one supporting staff for alleged sexual harassment of students after 19 girls lodged a complaint to the management requesting an immediate investigation. The compulsory retirement order was issued to six permanent lecturers, three contract lecturers and a supporting staff.
