Two Bhutanese athletes left for China to participate in the Beijing 2019 World Para Athletics Grand Prix yesterday.
Representing the nation, Chimi Dema and Gyeltshen will compete in the shot put event.
For now, both the athletes have been classified for the competition by international classifiers.
The World Para Athletics Grand Prix is coordinated by the World Para Athletics Sports Technical Committee.
It offers a wide range of competitions and events which is open to athletes in all impairment groups. The competition will begin on May 10.
