His Holiness the Je Khenpo consecrated and installed the statue of Gayngyen Jakpamelen at Phularri Gayngyen Lhakhang today. The Lhakhang was constructed recently. His Holiness also performed a Thruelser and Reawsangchu prayers to the new Gayngyen Lhakhang and statue.
The Lhakhang is located about half-an-hour uphill walk from Dorjidhen Chorten construction site at Phularri.
Yesterday, over 1,000 devotees received Ngedrup Lawang blessings at the conclusion of the weeklong Moenlam Chenmo.
About 200 monks, nuns and gomchens performed the ceremony. The prayers were conducted by the Moenlam Chenmo Tshogpa of Gelephu for the well being of the King, country, people and the entire universe.
