A 27-year-old man succumbed to injuries after falling boulders struck the tipper truck he was driving at Melong Brak in Samdrup Jongkhar. The incident occurred at around 8.30 pm on April 7.
He was taken to Dewathang hospital on the same night. He died on the way to Guwahati hospital in the Indian State of Assam yesterday.
Police said commuters should avoid travelling along the Melong Brak stretch at night, as it remains foggy most of the time.
