His Royal Highness Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck, the President of the Bhutan Olympic Committee was reappointed as the Chairman of the International Relations Committee (IRC) during Olympic Council of Asia’s (OCA) 38th General Assembly held in Bangkok, Thailand last weekend.
The IRC is a standing committee of the association, responsible for the facilitation and promotion of relationships between the OCA, National Olympic Committees, International Olympic Committees, International and Asian Sports Federations.
His Royal Highness was first appointed as the Chairman of the IRC during the 34th General Assembly of the OCA in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan in 2015.
At present, there are 18 committees to assist in the execution of its mandate.
