Green Bhutan Waste Management’s owner wins SAARC woman entrepreneur award

The owner of Green Bhutan Waste Management, Chogyel Lhamo was awarded the ‘SAARC Woman Entrepreneur of the Year 2018’ at a ceremony held at Colombo in Sri Lanka on March 2.

42-year-old Chogyel Lhamo runs a waste management firm in Bumthang.

She won the award alongside seven other women entrepreneurs nominated from each South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) country.

The SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council (SCWEC) organized the event for the first time this year.
