His Holiness the Je Khenpo consecrated a Chenrezig Ri-nga Thongdrel at Namdroling Goenzin Dratshang in Lhuentse today.
The 35-feet tall appliqué is the first of its kind in the country. It will remain as one of the main relics of the Dratshang.
A construction company’s proprietor funded Nu 5 M for the project.
During the consecration ceremony, hundreds of devotees from Monggar and Lhuentse gathered to offer prayers and receive blessings.
