Twenty artists comprising of actors, comedians, singers and musicians will be travelling to four different countries to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty The King on February 21.
Prime Minister shared this at the media meet today.
“This is to make our people residing in other countries feel at home. They will be representing our country and meet with our people there. They will go in groups to New York, Australia, Dubai, and New Delhi,” Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering said.
The president of the Bhutan Film Association (BFA) said it is a “Soelra” from His Majesty The King to the artists and it is also to thank the Bhutanese people residing abroad and remind them of Bhutanese culture and traditions.
The first group will leave to New York tomorrow.
