Thimphu police arrested a 25-year-old man from the town yesterday evening for allegedly stabbing a 24-year-old woman.
The woman was allegedly stabbed on her right groin while having lunch in her office. She was then taken to hospital due to excessive bleeding but was discharged on the same day. The incident occurred on the 20th of this month.
Police say the suspect, who is from Punakha claimed to be the victim’s ex-boyfriend and the case is under investigation.
