Paro District Court sentenced two men to prison terms ranging from three to three and a half years for burglary. The judgement, which was passed on Monday, also ordered them to pay Nu 39,500 to the victim.
The convicts had entered into a hotel in Paro town by breaking the door latch and had taken away a Samsung laptop worth Nu 39,000 and some cash.
The incident occurred in June this year and the convicts aged 21 and 22 were arrested in September.
