Police in Bumthang forwarded a drug trafficking case involving three men to the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) last week.

Police arrested the suspects from Tamshing in Bumthang last month following a tip-off.

They were caught red-handed in possession of 655 grams or 144 sticks and three balls of hashish.

They also had 1500 grams or a sackful of dry cannabis with them.

The suspects who are all in their mid-20s are still in police custody.
