Her Royal Highness Princess Sonam Dechan Wangchuck graced the 56th IMTRAT Raising Day in Haa yesterday.

The festival, popularly known as Haa Mela, celebrates the special bond between Bhutan and India.

Like every year, this time as well, it attracted thousands of Bhutanese. According to a news release from IMTRAT, around 20,000 people, including dignitaries, attended the event yesterday.

Celebrating the Indo-Bhutan friendship, the festival is a display of both Indian and Bhutanese cultures.

It also includes daredevil stunts and sky diving being the most anticipated.

Food and other stalls selling a wide variety of goods were among other attractions at the fair.
