Bhutan loses to Malaysia at ICC World Twenty20 Asia Region Qualifier B

The Bhutanese men’s cricket team lost its first match of the ICC World Twenty20 Asia Region Qualifier B to Malaysia by 67 runs today.

Bhutan struggled with both bat and ball against the host nation.

Malaysia batted first and scored 154 runs in their allotted 20 overs.In reply, Bhutan lost nine wickets and managed only 87 runs before the overs ran out.

Bhutan will now look to bounce back when they play China tomorrow. Bhutan has never lost to China at the senior level.
