The reincarnate of late Kuzhu Tshechu Rinpoche, Truelku Jigme Choeing Norbu, arrived in the Nepalese capital Kathmandu today, where his investiture ceremony is scheduled to take place. The ceremony will be held at the Sangachoeling Monastery, the main seat of the Late Rinpoche, on the 8th of this month.

The six-year-old Truelku, from Babesa in Thimphu, is accompanied by Yab Dasho Ugyen Dorji, Yum Thuji Zam, Dorji Lopen, Drabi Lopen and the Yangbi Lopen of the Zhung Dratshang.

The Trulku was first recognised as the reincarnate of late Kuzhu Tshechu Rinpoche by His Holiness the Je Khenpo and later endorsed by the Druk Menjong Trulku Ngoezin Tshogpa, the high level committee for recognition of Trulkus in Bhutan.

Trulku Jigme Choeing Norbu was born to Tenzin Namgyal and Karma on 24th June 2005.

Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, the Truelku was received by hundreds of devotees including monks and nuns. Our reporter, Kuenga Tashi, in Kathmandu says hundreds of people lined up along the way to the Hyatt Regency Hotel to receive blessings from the Truelku.
