Over 60 exhibitors from six different countries are taking part in the 9th Construction Expo, which began in Thimphu today.
The latest construction materials including tiles, marbles and earthmoving equipment are on display.
“The expo will provide wider choice of construction goods, technologies and equipment. It is important to bring in innovative technologies in construction sector,” Sangay Dorji, the Secretary General of BCCI, said.
The four-day expo is aimed to create awareness on latest and efficient technologies in the construction sector and also encourage business tie-ups between the local and international construction industries.
The expo organised by Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) was first held in 2009.
