Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay inaugurated the newly constructed Gelegphu Dungkhag office.

The office is located in Thongjazor village of Umling Gewog, which is 33 kilometres away from the present Dungkhag office.

It was constructed at a cost of Nu 20 m on a five-acre land. The funds were provided by the government.

The people of Umling, meanwhile, are hoping the office would spur growth and development in their community.

They will also have an easy access to public services and an improved security.
