Brought under control after 5 days

(Forest fire update) The forest fire at Jarey Gewog in Lhuentse was brought under control today. However, the Beat Officer,Tsheten Dorji, said there are chances that the fire might rekindle if strong winds continue to blow.

The fire destroyed over 800 acres of forests in the past five days. The area includes parts of Thrumshingla National Park in Ura, Bumthang.

    Why are the people of Bhutan that crazy to playing with fire in the forest? What made them to hate such a green and fresh forest?
