Bhutan receives Nu 1.4 B for central school reform

Bhutan receives Nu 1_4 B for central school reformThe government received more than Nu 1.4 B from the Indian government for the central school reform programme, today.

The Ambassador of India to Bhutan, Jaideep Sarkar, handed over the cheque to the Officiating Secretary of the Gross National Happiness Commission, Thinley Namgyel this morning.

School Reform Programme is a government of India project tied assistance project.

Thirty seven central schools are being developed under the program to improve the efficiency and quality of education services in the country.
