GNHC and JICA sign project worth US$ 2.5 M

GNHC and JICA sign project worth US$ 2The Gross National Happiness Commission (GNHC) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a project worth US$ 2.5 M, today.

The project titled “Capacity Development in Construction and Maintenance of Bridges” is expected to develop the capacity of engineers and maintenance of nearly 300 bridges under the Department of Roads.

Under the project, JICA will provide technical expertise in building bridges.

The three year project will begin in July, this year.
