MoH to recall a batch of Paracetamol The Ministry of Health (MoH) is recalling one batch of the three batches of 500mg Paracetamol tablet bought for this year. The recall comes after the Drug Regulatory Authority’s quality test showed that the batch is not up to the standard.

“We have informed all Health facilities to stop using this ENLT 006 batch of Paracetamol and we are going to collect back all and hand over to the supplier,” said the Department of Medical Services’ Director General, Ugen Dophu.

He said the suppliers will have to replace the batch with the ones that will meet the standard.

Ugen Dophu also said there will be no side effects if patients have already consumed them. “But it won’t be effective.”
