His Majesty appoints new Attorney General, Secretaries and National Assembly’s GS

His Majesty granted dhar to the new Attorney General, Shera Lhendup, the new General Secretary of the National Assembly Secretariat, Sangay Duba, the new Works and Human Settlement Secretary, Phuntsho Wangdi, and the new Economic Affairs Secretary, Dasho Yeshi Wangdi.

In accordance with the Constitution, His Majesty the King appoints secretaries to the government, the Attorney General and the General Secretary of the National Assembly on the recommendation of the Prime Minister and the Royal Civil Service Commission.

Dasho Yeshi Wangdi worked as the Director General of Department of Hydropower and Power Systems of the economic affairs Ministry.

Phuntsho Wangdi was the Director General of Bhutan Standards Bureau and Sangay Duba was Trashi Yangtse Dzongda.

Shera Lhendup owned a private consultancy.
