About 200 vehicles are stranded after about 100 metres of road sank into the ground. The area is located some seven kilometres from Wangdue towards Tsirang. The incident occurred this morning.
Our reporter in Wangdue Phodrang, Kinzang Thinley, said the marshy area is prone to such incident. The part of the road is said to have started sinking about four days ago.
