DTT declares three additional candidates

The Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa declared three more candidates in Phuentshogling today for the National Assembly elections. They will represent three constituencies of Chhukha and Samtse. With this, the party has declared thirty-four candidates so far.

Damcho Gyeltshen is the party’s candidate from the Phuentshogling constituency in Chhukha. The 37-year-old has a Master of Business Administration from Stamford International University in Thailand. He has worked for more than ten years in various organisations and served in different capacities. Damcho Gyeltshen contested twice in the 2018 and 2023 National Council elections.

 

 

 

 

Likewise, Tirtha Man Rai, a former National Council member will represent the Dophuchen-Tading constituency in Samtse. The 36-year-old has a Bachelor of Education from the Samtse College of Education

 

 

 

 

 

And, Subash Sharma was declared the party’s candidate for the Phuntshopelri-Samtse constituency in Samtse. The 39-year-old has a Master’s in Marketing Management from the University of Canberra in Australia. Before joining politics, he worked in different agencies and served in various capacities. He also contested in the 2023 National Council election.

The Druk Thuendrel Tshogpa is one of the five registered political parties in the country.
