Japan donates 12 ambulances

The health ministry received twelve ambulances worth Nu 10 M each from the Government of Japan today. The support is under Japan’s Grant Aid Economic and Social Development Programme. Equipped with advanced medical equipment, the new ambulances are expected to strengthen access to timely emergency medical needs. The ambulances will be deployed to hospitals with heavy caseloads. There are 130 ambulances in the country today.
