The De-Sung National Service launched its 24th water project at Zham village under Minjey Gewog in Lhuentse yesterday. The project will be implemented by the government in collaboration with armed forces and De-Suups.
The project worth over Nu 34 M is expected to complete within six months. Once complete, the beneficiaries will take care of its operation and minor maintenance.
The project is expected to benefit 42 households in irrigating nearly 400 acres of dry land and wetland in the village.
