GoI approves 70 more projects worth more than Nu 1.2bn

The Government of India approved 70 more projects worth more than Nu 1.2bn as part of Small Development Project, today.

The approved projects will develop health and education infrastructure, irrigation channels, farm roads and enhance economic and job opportunities in the gewogs. The Indian Government has approved more than Nu 8.5bn for the project of which Bhutan has received more than Nu 3.3bn so far.

The projects are part of the 12th Five Year Plan.
