Gyaltsuen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck turns 22 today. Coinciding with the birth anniversary of Gyaltsuen, the three armed forces and members of the taxi association of Bhutan offered tashi khaddar and a birthday cake to Gyaltsuen at Lingkhana Palace in Thimphu.
After the ceremony, they were granted an audience by His Majesty the King and Gyaltsuen. Gyaltsuen was born on June 4 in 1990. Gyaltsuen is from Pangtey in Bumthang. Her Majesty went to Little Dragon Montessori and then to Sunshine School. Her Majesty then studied for a year at the Changangkha Lower Secondary school and then completed her Middle Secondary School from Lungtenzampa.
Besides excelling in academics, Her Majesty also participated actively in extra-curricular activities and sports. After Lungtenzampa, Her Majesty went to St Josephs Convent in Kalimpong and Saint Lawrence in India. Her Majesty then went to Regents College in the UK.
