The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Bhutan, HE A.K.M. Shahidul Karim presented credentials to His Majesty The King at the Tashichhodzong today.
Prior to assuming the post, he served as the Chief of Protocol in the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Bangladesh. Since joining the civil service in 1999, he has served in various diplomatic capacities.
The 48-year-old ambassador holds a university degree in electrical and electronic engineering. He is married and has two sons.
