Wangdue Phodrang police arrested a 25-year-old man, who is from Zhemgang, on last Friday for alleged malicious mischief, robbery and battery cases.
According to the police, the suspect, under the influence of alcohol, had damaged three light vehicles by kicking and climbing on it in the early morning, in Bajo town. The suspect had also allegedly robbed around Nu 3,000 from a man and battered another man who came to intervene the robbery. Police say the suspect already has another case of attempted to murder in the court and was on bail.
The case is being investigated.
