1,259 university graduates get through PE

A total of 1,259 university graduates got through the preliminary exams (PE) of the Bhutan Civil Service Examination (BCSE) 2019. The results were announced today. 3,256 graduates sat for the PE.

The cut-off percentage this year is 50 per cent. The PE is conducted to test the minimum standard required for a candidate to sit for the main examination.

The university graduates who made it through the exam will sit for the main exam, which will begin from October 11.

They will compete for the 683 job vacancies in the civil service. According to the RCSC, of the total vacancies, 45 are in Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration (PGDPA), 30 in Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM), 10 in Post Graduate Diploma in National Law, 265 in PGD Education and 333 are in technical service.
