House partially damaged in Pekchurung, Monggar.

A fire partially damaged a two-storied traditional house at Pekchurung in Monggar this morning. Police, DeSuups and gewog officials contained the fire.

A 78 year-old woman and her daughter lost some of their belongings to the blaze.  However, no casualties have been reported. Cause of the fire is not yet known.
