PM along with head of armed forces offer their respects before kuphung of Yab Dasho Ugyen Dorji

The prime minister, foreign minister, members of parliament, and heads of the three branches of the Armed Forces offered their respects before the kuphung of the late Yab Dasho Ugyen Dorji in Punakha yesterday. Yab Dasho Ugyen Dorji passed away on May 12 at the age of 94.

His Holiness the Je Khempo is presiding over Gyalwa Mithrupai Chhoga, performed by monks from the Zhung Dratshang. Prayers are also being performed in monasteries around the country.
