Secret investigation on Chamkhar fire incidents

Gomtu’s health problems

3 huts razed to the ground in Paro

(Brief) Three huts above Paro Dzong were razed to the ground by a fire. The incident took place at around 9:30 am today. The huts belonged to the workers working for the Dzong renovation project. Though there were no reports of casualties, all the belongings were lost. Firefighters and people from the locality battled the fire.

Man gets nine years and three months imprisonment

The Monggar district court convicted a 22-year-old man to nine years and three months imprisonment for stabbing a 19-year-old student to death. The convict has also been asked to pay Nu. 106,300 as compensation to the deceased's family.
