Twenty youth from different schools in Thimphu met on Friday, in the capital, to discuss issues of national interest and find a youth perspective. Speakers were invited from the Anti-Corruption Commission, the GNH Commission, the National Council, and the media.
This event was part of an educational programme supported by the Bhutan Centre for Media and Democracy called “The Youth Initiative for Debate, Deliberation and Development”.
The initiative encourages youth to study public policy, debate with a non-partisan approach, and use democratic problem-solving skills.
