Woman convicted for involuntary manslaughter

woman-convicted-for-involuntary-manslaughterMonggar District Court sentenced a 29-year-old woman to three years imprisonment for involuntary manslaughter, last Wednesday.

The verdict said the culprit had pushed her younger brother after he punched her.

The brother hit his head on a wall and died after five days in Monggar Regional Hospital.

The incident took place in Ngatshang Gewog under Mongar in August, this year.
