Tshering Yangki has appealed to the Supreme Court on Monday after the High Court affirmed Trashigang District Court and Wamrong Dungkhag Court’s judgments.
The lower courts found her guilty of battery and trespassing during the incident that happened in April last year. She was handed down a concurrent prison term of 18 months and was also ordered to pay more than Nu 260,000 as compensation to the victim.
